Among the very few Intellectual, social activist, season politician and the founder of Cultural and adventure tour operator in Gilgit -Baltistan. Mr. Muhammad Iqbal is a Founder and Managing Director of Baltistan Tours Pakistan and Co-founder of KE Adventure UK. He Iqbal belongs to Khaplu, Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan. He has been associated with Tourism since 1978. Apart from being engaged in tourism activities he has always been extending his cooperation to local community, government and non-governmental Organizations in public welfare activities so as to uplift the socio-economic conditions of the people of the region. His supervision and advises have always been appreciated by well known organizations of the region.

He is a president of Baltistan Tour operator Association since 2003 also president of Town Management committee and development society Khaplu since 2003. Founder member of Baltistan cultural and Development foundation Skardu since 1992. He is a Chairman Board of Badowa Orphan School Khaplu since 2012. He establishes first mountaineering school Khaplu namely Balti Yul Mountaineering School Khaplu in 2005 to promote skill development of porters, High porters, climbers, guides. He discovered many trekking routes and adventure and culture holiday organizer of Karakoram Pakistan.

He is a member of Managing Committee Pakistan Red Crescent Gilgit Baltistan. He help mountain area people, of Karakoram and Himalaya villages like Hushe, Khaplu, Braldo and Basha, Askole, Shigar valley to promote sustainable tourism. He gave awareness and help for the village community of Hushe to improve their standard of living through proper hygiene and today all camp sites in Hushe is more proper than other camps. He is an experienced trekker, mountain guide, tourism consultant and social worker of Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan.
